About The Cancer Center of Huntsville

The physicians at The Cancer Center of Huntsville offer state of the art services in medical oncology and hematology to patients of North Alabama and the Tennessee Valley. The specialists at TCC are committed to providing highly personalized care for patients with cancer and a wide range of blood disorders. Our physicians are involved in every aspect of their patients’ treatment. Each patient is seen by one of the four attending physicians from the initial visit through the treatment course, and for all subsequent follow up care, as well as during any hospitalizations.

Our Facilities


Our newly designed 15,000 square foot office occupies the entire second floor of the Blackwell Medical Tower which is conveniently located beside Huntsville Hospital (HH). You will enjoy the comfort of our spacious treatment area and the many amenities we have to offer, including our own lab, large waiting room, spacious exam rooms, drink machine, public WiFi, and a warm and friendly staff who will greet you with a smile!

Access to Multi-Specialties and HH

There is ease of access to multi-specialty physician services within a short walking distance of our suite. The short distance from our office to HH allows direct access to the cafeteria and food court as well as inpatient services and outpatient procedures.

Our History

In 2004, Dr. Richard Gualtieri became the founder and CEO of The Cancer Center of Huntsville, PC. Under his care and guidance the practice has successfully grown and continues to serve more patients each year.

Dr. Gualtieri retired after 12 years of hard work and dedication to making The Cancer Center of Huntsville successful. We are thankful to him for building such a strong foundation, and we are honored to continue to build upon his legacy.

It is our commitment to continue to provide state of the art Hematology and Medical Oncology services in a professional and caring way to people in North Alabama and the Tennessee Valley.
